Pack the Pantry! Broward Outreach

Its that time of year again!

As Thanksgiving approaches we are reminded of our less fortunate brothers and sisters who will be in shelters and away from their families this year. Some for the first time, while others have grown accustomed to holidays alone. This is why we must reach out to them and remind them that they are not alone in their suffering. As many of you are now veterans of our events with the Broward Outreach Center in Pompano, you will know that there are hundreds of homeless men, women and children that are housed there daily. They come and go as they are able to get on their own feet with God’s help and that of the good (and difficult) work of the staff at BOC. However, they cannot do it alone. It is incumbent on all Christians to help their fellow brothers and sisters ( Proverbs 19:17)

This year, SVRM will have an event Sunday, November 20th at 3:30pm. If you would like to attend, please let us know by contacting us. Please click here to contact us.

We will meet at 3pm the following location:

Broward Outreach Center
1700 Blount Road
Pompano Beach, Fl 33069

Volunteers must be age 12+ and accompanied by a parent if under 18. Our goal is to raise $1500 to sponsor meals for a whole day for the center’s 120 men, 40 women and 25 kids with their 10 parents.

To donate to this project, please make your checks payable to Broward Outreach Center and mail it to:
