Thanksgiving Outreach Event
This event was on November 8th, 2015. Below is the official press release for the event.
As Thanksgiving approaches we are reminded of our less fortunate brothers and sisters who will be in shelters and away from their families this year. Some for the first time, while others have grown accustomed to holidays alone. This is why we must reach out to them and remind them that they are not alone in their suffering. As many of you are now veterans of our events with the Broward Outreach Center in Pompano (https://www.browardoutreachcenter.org/ ), you will know that there are hundreds of homeless men, women and children that are housed there daily. They come and go as they are able to get on their own feet with God’s help and that of the good (and difficult) work of the staff at BOC. However, they cannot do it alone. It is incumbent on all Christians to help their fellow brothers and sisters ( Proverbs 19:17)
This year SVRM will have an event Sunday, November 8th at 12:30pm. If you would like to attend, please let us know by contacting us. Please click here to contact us.
